(UPDATE): Information given by another FIND A GRAVE MEMBER is here as follows, and we thank them: The Mount Tabor Indian Cemetery was destroyed in 1967, but in the summer of 2016, it was learned that the headstones were bulldozed into the creek but may be recovered. The Mount Tabor Indian Community, made up of descendants of those that settled there in 1845, is in the process of reacquiring the land on which the cemetery exists, to restore it if possible. Only John Bell Jr's headstone was found by Mack Starr, Foster Bean and George Bell in 1967 in a 55 gallon drum.
