She lived a very long life, passing at age 97 peacefully and with no prior illnesses, on February 24, 1979. She was a religious woman, who loved to cut scriptures out of the newspaper and put them in a scrapbook. She was a most loving Grandmother to Sondra, Sharone and Steven, often spending time with them, including a summer while her son and daughter-in-law were stationed with the Army in Waco, Texas.
