Juan F. Corral was born in El Paso, TX. He was Catholic and Mexican and proud to be both. He was the proud father of 3 girls, he was deeply saddened when his youngest daughter, Emily Clair preceeded him in death. He was also preceeded in death by his mother. Juan died at Mercy Memorial Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA from complications of Leukemia. He was one of a kind. Juan was a great friend and an exceptional conversationalist. He loved debates and George Carlin. He was well educated. Where most people falter or freeze up, he gained strength, living on the edge. However dangerous or tiring a situation was, it only fueled Juan to strive harder to reach his goal. This was apparent in his battle with Leukemia. He was loyal and true. He was fun to be around, but, if a friend were sad, he was there, and he was caring. Juan was a gifted man in many ways. He was a carpenter and contractor, one who could repair anything, build anything. He enjoyed reading and was an art enthusiast. He had many interests such as cooking and making friends. Above of all, I remember his love and compassion for his family and friends. Juan had an open mind and didn't judge others. When friends and family needed him he was there. He went to visit his mother in-law every day at the nursing home to brush her hair, just so she could see him up close and to be reminded that she was loved and not forgotten, because she wasn't, after all he remembered. He wrote a song inside his bible that I have to this day. I will always remember him.

His song. His words. Unedited and Untitled

Jesus Christ, I think upon your sacrifice
You became nothing, poured out to death.
Many times I wonder at your gift of life
And I am in that place once again.

And once again I look upon the cross where you died
I'm humbled by your mercy, I'm broken inside.
Once again, I thank you
Once again, I pour out my life.

Now you are exalted to the highest place
King of the heavens, where one day I'll bow
But for now I marvel, at this saving grace
And, I am full of praise once again.

And, I am full of praise once again.

Thank you for the cross, my friend.
Thank you for the cross, my friend.
Thank you for the cross, my friend.
