ERNEST HIGHTOWER CAMPOBELLO - Ernest E. Hightower, 85, of Route 2, Mills Road, husband of Myrtle Suddeth Hightower, died Saturday.
A native of Greenville County, he was a retired employee of Daniel Construction Co., a farmer and cotton gin operator and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
Also surviving are two daughters, Ruth Blackwell of Inman and Patsy Jackson of Lyman Lake; three sons, Joe and Jack Hightower of Spartanburg and Lewis of Campobello; 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church; burial in the Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Sunday at Wood Mortuary, Greer.
The body will be placed in the Church 2 p.m. Monday.
