At the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles, she won the gold in the 4x100m relay, setting a World Record in that event. In the Berlin Olympics in 1936, she again won the gold in the 4x100m relay. That year she was also the US National Outdoor Champion in the high jump. Rogers has been inducted into the Chicago Sports Hall of Fame and the Northwestern Athletic Hall of Fame.
