HERMAN STAMNITZ, 46, PASSES IN ARIZONA, AFTER LINGERING ILLNESS

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Dinkel Funeral Home for Herman Stamnitz, 46, who died Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz, where he resided for the past 18 months. The Rev. Mr. Wilbur Williams officiated and burial was in Silverlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Stamnitz, who resided in Detroit until a year and one half ago, was born in Sebewaing on September 22, 1918, the son of Charles and Ida LaFave) Stamnitz. He attended school here and was married to Virginia Martens in June 1942.

Surviving Mr. Stamnitz are three sons, Herman, Timothy and George all of Detroit, and one daughter, Ginette Stamnitz of Detroit, two grandchildren, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stamnitz of Sebewaing, and two sisters, Mrs. Edgar (Dorothy) Herman of Sebewaing and Mrs. Edward (Elsie) Zindler of Detroit.
