Walter Sidney Nordquist passed away March 19, 1975 in Redding. He was the husband of Stella Nordquist of Redding; father of Walter Nordquist Jr. of El Paso, Tex.; brother of Mrs. Melvin (Olga) Roberts of Arcata, Mrs. Oscar (Alice) Alden of Arcata, Clarence Nordquist of Fortuna, and Oscar Nordquist of Bayside; grandfather of Lynda, Douglas, and Steven Nordquist of El Paso, Tex. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Nordquist was a native of Eureka, age 73 years. He was a member of the Humboldt County Historical Society. Mr. Nordquist was with California Central Creameries and Foremost Dairy for 44 years prior to his retirement. He was also officer manager of Foremost Dairy at the time of his retirement. Mr. Nordquist had resided a number of years in the San Francisco bay area and, for the past few months, in Redding.
Funeral services will be held at Chapel of Pierce Mortuary, Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m with the Rev. Harold Ranton officiating. Inurnment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery.
