CLIFFORD DRAGOO WELL KNOWN FARMER IS DEAD END COMES TODAY AT HOME, WEST OF NEEDHAM

Z. C. Dragoo, 66 years of age, well known and highly respected farmer, died at his home two miles west of Needham early this morning. Death resulted from heart trouble, from which Mr. Dragoo had for some time been a suffered. He had been in extremely poor health since last fall, and for the past two months had been confined to his home.

Z. Clifford Dragoo was born in 1855 and spent most of his life in the community where he died. Besides his wife, who was formerly Miss Sarah N. Depue, he is survived by three sons. They are: Dr. Fred Dragoo, of Laporte; Harry Dragoo, of Indianapolis; and Maurice C. Dragoo, of Franklin. Four brothers and one sister also surviving are: W. E. Dragoo, of Wanette, Oklahoma; Oscar Dragoo, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Abram Dragoo and Albert Dragoo, of this county and Mrs. E. R. Coy, of this county.

Mr. Dragoo was for years a poultry fancier, winning numerous state and national prizes with his Barred Plymouth Rocks. He was a member of the Knights of the Maccabees.

Announcement was made at the home today that friends may call at the home Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday morning at 10 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. Thomas Gray, pastor of the Community church. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
