Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Turnbow officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Marine Corps Honor Guard.
Mr. Betts worked in the oil field as a driller and tool pusher, and served in the Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, June Betts of Seymour; four daughters, Kathleen Smith, Julie Turnbow, and Violet Naranjo all of Wichita Falls; and Roxana Rogers of Rochester, Texas; a son, Tony Betts of Jenks, Okla.; two brothers, Kenneth Betts and Jimmy Wayne Betts both of Bowie; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
