Stephen Blaise Sackett, 65, of Liverpool, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A Syracuse native, he was a St. John the Evangelist High School graduate and retired in 2001 as body shop manager from Heritage Lincoln Mercury. He loved his boat "Impulse" and his classic '55 Chevy and was a NASCAR and Football fan.
He is predeceased by his sister, Joanna "Tootsie"; his parents, Anthony and Johanna; his stepmother, Louise; and his parents-in-law, George and Anne Martz.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Georganne; his children, Lisa and Stephen Sackett; his brother, Anthony (Joanne) Sackett; sister-in-law, Lynn Martz; step-brother, Jim (Diane) Casey; nieces and nephews, Patrick Deptula, King, Blaise, Nicholas, Joanna and Mary Sackett; the Marrs Family of Marcellus and his very beloved kitty, "B".
Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Fergerson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church with burial following in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse
