Doug was born to Cliff and Wilma (Osborne) Aldridge. He married Lorena Anderson in 1981 and they were later divorced. Doug spent the last 18 years of his life in Kanab, UT. The last 2 1/2 were spent with his partner Dixie Schultz.

His pride and joy was his family. His children Heather, Amber, Brittany and Aaron; his grandchildren James, Jace, Journee, Gunner, Aaron and John; his siblings Dean, Terry, Mary Ann and Don.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cliff and Wilma.

Doug spent much of his spare time outdoors doing what he loved, hunting, fishing and jeeping. But his biggest passion was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He had a great sense of humor and many friends. There was always someone dropping by Parts Plus just to visit and see what he was up to. He loved his parts store and many people have said. "He was the best parts man around". He was always giving; always putting others needs before his own. One of his main concerns was not to be a burden to anyone, especially his loved ones and girls, so in his honor and in lieu of flowers, we gratefully invite you to contribute to the donation account of Doug at Mt. America Credit Union.

Services held Aug 1, 2015 at the LDS Chapel in downtown Kanab. He was cremated so no viewing. Arrangements made with Mosdell Mortuary.
