Mr. James M. “Jimmy” Allen, age 80, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Newport Medical Center.
Mr. Allen attended Crossroads Community Church as long as his health allowed. He was retired from Stokely Van Camp, Ball Corporation and Cocke County Landfill.
He was preceded in death by his children Tommy, Teresa, Lisa and Retha; parents John B. Allen Sr. and Arlie Allen; brother John B. Allen Jr.; sister Frances Allen Brooks.
The funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, June 1, 2016 in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Clevenger officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Union Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm. Wednesday evening at the Costner-Maloy prior to the service.
