Born in Newfield, Dec. 6, 1868, he was the son of Uriah and Almira Doll, and was the oldest of a family of six. In early life he prepared to teach school, which he continued doing until his retirement about 12 years ago. He married Miss Mattie Louella Whitney of Genoa Aug. 24, 1909.
Surviving are his wife, and a daughter, Mrs. Melva Beecher of Austin, Tex.; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. R. E. Billis of Binghamton; a brother, George F. Doll of Ithaca, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Universal Church of McLean, by the Rev. Stanley P. Borden, pastor of the Federated Church of McLean. Burial will be in McLean.
