David G. Bright, age 55 of Campbellsburg died Sunday, July 18, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Shelby County to the late G.W. Bright and Hazel Miller Bright. He was a police officer for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Pam Bright and two children: Kelli Nelson and her husband Steve, and Rodney Bright, all of Campbellsburg; two brothers: Taylor Bright, Virginia and Mike Bright, Pleasureville; one sister, Becky Smith, LaGrange; three grandchildren: Blake Nelson, Jordan Bright and Zachary Nelson.
Services will be held today (Wednesday, July 20) at 10 a.m. at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg. Rev. Doug Boyd and Rev. Shane Nickell will officiate. Visitation was held Tuesday, July 19. Interment will be in Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are: Larry Bohannon, Charles Rucker, Garold Price and George Thompson.
Active pallbearers are: Carroll Jones, Jarrett Jones, John Callis, Prentice Raisor, Paul Pyles and Zach Yates.
Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Baptist Church and Campbellsburg Christian Church.
