Mr. Adams retired in 1993 from the DuPont Wilmington Shops as a machinist for 29 years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Wilmington. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Louise K.; 2 sons, Paul Adams of Newark, DE and Eric Adams of Middletown, DE; a daughter, Rachael of Lewes, DE; 2 stepsons, Jeff Helm of Clayton, DE, Robert Helm of Claymont, DE; a stepdaughter, Debbie Johnson of Middletown, DE; and 14 grandchildren. A stepson, Clinton Helm and a brother, Harold Adams both preceded him in death.
A service will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, December 12 from Grace Baptist Church, 41st & West Sts., Wilmington. Interment will be in Lombardy Cemetery. Friends may call at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville (S. of Silverside Rd) Monday evening after 7.
