Arriving in Philadelphia on the ship 'Davey' from Germany on 25 Oct 1738, Wendel Seybert/Seibert later served in the Berks Co., Pa., Militia in the Revolutionary War. He and his wife Catharine had 12 children and would go on to have many, many descendants. A blacksmith, he later moved from Berks Co., Pa., to Berkeley Co., Va. (W.V.), along with several of his adult children.
