Betty Frances McClure Boone, 54, of 1659 Oak Hill Drive died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.
She was born Aug. 10, 1952, in Madison, the daughter of Nelson G. and Lena Van Tyle McClure. She lived in Jefferson County most of her life. She was a self-employed truck driver, traveling coast to coast for 13 years, and was a Southwestern School Corp. bus driver when her children were growing up. She also was employed at Grote Industries, the former Williamson Heater Co., FAS Plastics and the Indiana Department of Transportation. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, bull riding, rodeos, bowling and her dog Misty, who traveled over the road with her in the truck. She was married Sept. 25, 1970, to Clarence W. Marshall.
She is survived by two sons, Kenny Marshall of Richmond and Travis Marshall of Madison; her parents, of Madison; three sisters, Mary E. Hord and Deborah Vest, both of Madison, and Wanda Aldridge of Lexington; four brothers, Nelson W. McClure of Patriot, and David McClure, Bruce McClure and Steve McClure, all of Madison; three grandchildren; one uncle; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Vevay Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service.
