The Atlanta Constitution dated 3 Sep 1908.

George G. Eidson, a painter, died at his residence, 37 Plum street, last night at 12 o'clock. His death was caused by blood poisoning. Mr. Eidson was 59 years of age. He is survived by his widow and one son, Hugh Eidson, one brother, Issac Eidson, and two sisters, Mrs. Will Brown of Austell, Ga., and Mrs. Trumer Hamby, of Smyrna, Ga. The funeral services will probably occur at the residence this afternoon. Interment will be at Collins Springs cemetery.
