Thomas O. Stone, 84, of Columbia died Monday, June 20, 1994, in his home. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Frey officiating. There will be no visitation. Mr. Stone was born July 16, 1909, to Ben and Jewett Hawkins Stone. On Oct. 29, 1935, he married Louise Faulkerson, and she preceded him in death in 1951. He worked as a coal miner. Survivors include two sons, three daughters, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jim Stone; and a sister.
