Mrs. Maude K. Cox
NORFOLK--Mrs. Maude Kellam Stevens Cox, 85, of 241 East 41st St., died Saturday in her home.
A native of Shiloh, N.C., she was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church; Elizabeth City Chapter No. 44, O.E.S.; and Matoaka Chapter of Order of Pocahontas.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Evelyne Sherbondy of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel S. Hooper of Norfolk and Mrs. Helen S. Evans of Elizabeth City; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive, by the Rev. Daniel D. Dickenson. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery, Elizabeth City, Tuesday at 2 p.m.
