The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held 11A.M. in the Chapel of Bridges Funeral Home on Monday, October 04, 2004, with burial at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. Rev. Jim Perdue will officiate.
Mrs. Adams was born on September 26, 1962, in Macon and had lived in Gray for the past nine years, coming from Monroe County.
She was the daughter of the late John Wesley Etheredge.
Mrs. Adams was a dental assistant with Philip Cawthon, DDS, and was a member of East Macon United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband: John P. Adams of Gray; daughter: Amber Ayers of Juliette; son: Michael Glisson of Gray; mother: Virginia Etheredge of Lizella; sister: Karen Nunnally of Roberta; brothers: Wayne Etheredge of Fort Valley; Warren Etheredge of Lizella, Jay Etheredge of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Steve Etheredge of Twiggs County; her granddaughter: Kathryn Ayers and by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter, 6425 Powers Ferry Rd., NW, Suite 275, Atlanta, Georgia 30339-2920.
