Gibson Funeral Is Held In Arizona
Funeral services were held at Tempe, Ariz. Jan. 15 for Hiram Gibson, 85, who died there Jan. 13 after a brief illness. A resident of Carnegie many years and father of Harvey Gibson, implement dealer, Mr. Gibson had gone to Tempe to spend the winter. Rites were conducted by Rev. Harold Wilson of the Baptist church and burial was made in the Double Butte cemetery at Tempe. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gibson went to Arizona for the funeral.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Ann Dupree and Mrs. Mamie Winters, Los Angeles; Mrs. Edna Taylor, Seneca, Mo., and Mrs. Homer James, Tempe, and five sons, Louis and Marvin of California; John of Tuttle; Myrl with the army in France, and Harvey of this place.
