Eileen was born April 12, 1920, to Edward and Winifred (Towey) Pollard at Schuyler, Nebraska. She grew up there and was a graduate of Schuyler High School.
She married Raymond Bradbury Aug. 22, 1942, in Hooper, Nebraska, where she lived until returning to Schuyler in 1949. She came to Fremont, Nebraska in 1952. They were blessed with two children.
Sadly, her husband died March 12,1994.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 200 Auxiliary in Fremont.
Eileen M. Bradbury, 77, of Fremont, Nebraska died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998 at Arbor Manor in Fremont.
Left to cherish her memory are a son, Ron Bradbury of Lincoln, NE; a daughter, JoAnn (Mrs. Gary) Hilgenkamp of Arlington; a sister, Delores King of San Luis Obispo, CA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and her stepmother.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. The Rev. John Whalen will officiate. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Saturday and 1-9 pm Sunday, all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour prior to Monday’s service at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. A memorial has been established to Alzheimer’s Association.
