Logan Reed Arnold, 80, a former Delphi resident, died of a heart attack in Holmes Beach, Florida, where he lived.

Mr. Arnold was the son of the late Harry Arnold; former secretary of the Abstract Company and manager of the Building and Loan Association, both of Delphi, and the late Mary Reed Arnold.

He graduated from Delphi High School and attended Purdue University for two years. He was graduated from the University of Michigan School of Engineering. After graduation he served as an officer in the Navy during WWI, and then became associated with Sinclair Oil Company in East Chicago. Mr. Arnold retired approximately 15 years ago and moved to Florida.

Surviving with his wife, Lucy of Holmes Beach, are sister, Miss Mary Josephine Arnold of Evanston, Ill, and cousins Mrs. Edith Baum Miller of Indianapolis, and Attorney David Reed Baum of Delphi.
