Eugene "Gene" Malcomb Rankin, 93, of Greenwich, Conn., formerly of Lowell, passed away at Greenwich Hospital on Jan. 31, 2016.

He was a native of Lowell, son of the late Thomas P. Rankin Sr. and Pearl Leonhardt Rankin.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at Edgewood Cemetery in Lowell.
