Gordon was born on April 16, 1935 to Bernard and Mary (Polinske) Reimann on their home farm in the town of Newton, Marquette County.
Gordon valiantly served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1959 until 1964. After returning from service he worked for Satterfield Electronics for over 35 years in the Madison area before retiring and returning to Newton to help his brother Gilbert. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield.
Gordon is survived by his sister, Mabel Margell of Glendale, CA, brother, Gilbert of Westfield and cousins: Doris Schwanke of Westfield and Sharon Judas of Princeton. He is also survived by his nephew, Tom Margell of California as well as many friends.
Gordon is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred.
A graveside prayer service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Westfield East Cemetery. Pastor Gary H. Schultz will preside and full military honors will be performed by the Westfield area Veterans.
