Daughter of William Reichert & Elizabeth Merod. As a young woman, when her grandmother passed away while in the process of kneeding dough for bread, she finished the preparation of the bread and baked it. She married Albert Rehg & lived on a farm in Imbs Station, IL. She churned butter and gathered eggs for sale in Centreville. Their children were Cora Ida Rehg Hagan (1909-1976), Elsie Emma Rehg Sheldon (1911-1998), Clarence George Rehg (1915-1960), Hilda Lena Rehg Stark (1913-2004), & Albert Gustav Rehg (1919-1971).
