Opal "Lou" E. Chartrand passed away on March 30, 2016 at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Jack Chartrand; three sons, Lonnie (Lynn) Chartrand, Larry (Sherry) Chartrand, Layne (Linda) Chartrand; daughter, Linda (Mark) Ziolko; 13 grandchildren, ; 10 great-grandchildren, ; She is preceded in death by her father, John Lyons, mother, Leona Lyons nee Jones, brother, Edward Lyons, brother, James Lyons, sister, Colleen Henry, sister, Elsie Marie Lyons, granddaughter, Alexandria Chartrand. Opal was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jonesburg, MO where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Married in Como, MS on July 12, 1955. Lou enjoyed genealogy, music, photography, working in her flower gardens. She enjoyed playing the organ at the church.
