Nellie Beshears Scrimager Moyars, 88, passed away Sunday July 7, 2002 at Sunrise Nursing Home.

She was born, January 3, 1914 in Cain Town Community, a daughter of the late Phalous Beshears and Valona (Gadberry) Beshears. She was a dietitian with the Benton Central Board of Education in Indiana and of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by four sons. Joe (and Judy) Scrimager, Somerset, KY., Ralph (and Bonnie) Scrimager, Mattoon, IL., Darmus (and Rexana) Scrimager, Bothell, WA, and Lindsey Scrimager, Indianapolis, IN.; two stepdaughters, Willma Mills and Norma Mills both of Otterbein, IN.; three sisters, Beulah Coner, Nancy, KY. Lula Merrick, Burnside, KY. and Ruth Gossett, Somerset, KY.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, Zelmer “Buck Scrimager, whom she married in May 1933 in Pulaski County; her 2nd husband, Calude Moyars, whom she married in 1961 in Milton, Co. IN.; one daughter, Mildred Dawson; one step son, Bobby Robert Moyars; one stepdaughter, Nellie Chrisman; six brothers, John Buck, Jim Ernest, Carl and Hugh Frank Beshears; five sisters, Jennie Beshears, Myrtle Tarter, Mollie Bishop, Leva Ard and Ceolia Johnson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday July 11, 2002 at the Chapel of Hahns Funeral Home in Oxford, IN with Brother Larry McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Pond Grove Cemetery Otterbein, IN. Visitation will be after 6:00 P. M. Tuesday July 9, 2002 at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral home and after 1:00 P. M. Thursday July 11, 2002 at Hahns Funeral Home in Oxford, IN.
