Robert Austin Campbell, 75, of Pocono Lake, died Sunday, December 21, at his home. He was the husband of Nancy Charlene (Bradley) Campbell to whom he had been married for thirty years. Born on November 3, 1928 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late John and Viola (Dalquist) Campbell and had lived in the area since 1980 moving here from Willingboro, NJ. He was an engineer working for the General Electric Space Program in Philadelphia retiring in 1974. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Elmhurst Chirstian Center; the Wilson-Fischer Post 413 American Legion, Pocono Lake; and the Promise Keepers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, John A. Campbell of Colorado, Scott Campbell of Littleton, CO and David Campbell of Knoxville, TN; a stepson, Fran Crawford, Jr. of Berlin, NJ; two stepdaughters, Deborah Germani of Burlington, NJ and Nancy Crawford of Pocono Lake; thirteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two nephews, Ken Murray of Dover, DE and James Murray, Jr. of CT; and two nieces, Diane Murray of Burlington, MA and Karen Murray Buehman of Dover, DE. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, at 8:00PM in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with the Rev. Doug Littleton officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday at 12:30PM in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. There will be a viewing on Monday from 6:30PM until the time of servcie at 8:00PM in the funeral home.
