Howard Harless, a former Cushing resident, now of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away early Monday morning, October 17, 2011 in Moore at the age of 64 years.

The son of the late William Jennings Harless and Nellie Baker Harless, Howard was born on August 23, 1946 in Cushing and was raised and educated here. Howard was proud of the fact that he later received his GED.

Prior to his retirement, Howard had always worked in the oilfield and and was always interested in classic cars.

Survivors include one son Jonathan Harless of Alabama; one brother Don Harless of Midwest City, OK, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Gary Harless.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 2 P.M. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Brother Sonny Johnston officiating.
