Word was received on Saturday of the death on Thursday, October 26, of Mrs. Ona Cartwright of Wheatland, Calif. She was 80 years of age. Graveside services to be held at the Clayton Cemetery are pending. She leaves a son Jim of Wheatland, Calif.; two daughters Mrs. Arnold Buehler (Cleo) of El Dorado, Calif.; and Mrs. Ora Williams of West Union, Iowa. Also six grandchildren. Ona enjoyed a trip to Iowa in September and visits with her many former Van Meter friends.
