Waddington-Gerald R LaMora, 68 died Mar. 22, 2016 at his home. Services at Phillips Memorial Home in Waddington with funeral at the United Methodist Church of Waddington with Rev. David Piatt presiding. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Waddington. Gerald was born Mar. 4, 1948 in Crogan, NY, son of George and Gloria Shaffner LaMora. He graduated from Massena High School in 1965. He joined the USAF and spent time overseas during Vietnam War. He married Linda Cyrus on Jul. 31, 1976 at Knapp Station Church. He worked at Alcoa as an electrician for 29 yrs and retired in 2001. Jerry is survived by his wife Linda; a daughter, Karen LaMora of Liverpool; a son Kevin and wife Brooke LaMora of South Colton; 5 grandchildren, Briella Johnson, Xavier Johnson, Case Bandy, Kendall and Liam LaMora; his siblings, Michael LaMora of Canton, Patrick and Sherrie LaMora of Morristown, David and Sharley LaMora of Oregon, Gloria "Gyl" Barkley of Massena, Jacqueline LaMora and companion James LaPoint of Norwood, William "Bill" and Theresa LaMora of Oregon, Terry LaMora and companion Debbie Benware of Madrid. He was predeceased by his son Keith in 1999 and brother George LaMora in 2012.
