Nervia Beatrice Shelton, age 76 of Newport passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Rachael Shelton.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and J.C. Raines of Newport; sons, Jack and Jerry Shelton of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Bobby Stevenson of West, VA; brother, Ronnie Shelton of Newport; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening October 26, 2007 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Milburn Shelton officiating.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Stokely Cemetery.
