She was born in Randolph County on January 7, 1922 to the late Fred and Penny Hill Cranford and she had been a resident of this area all of her life. She was a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her brother, Carl Cranford and his wife Juanita; several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Lula's life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19th, at the graveside in Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church cemetery.
