Richard Lee Lewis was born in Iola, Kansas. He died in Temple, Texas.
He was a drill sergent in Fort Polk, La. He had three daughters, Kristal, Halley, and Kelley. He had six grandchildren, Derrick, Kayley, Shelby,Gracie, Alden and Bradley. At the time of his death he was working at Garlyn Sheldon in Temple. He died at the Veteran Hospital. His wife of 37 years was Glenda Nell Eads Lewis.
