Patsy A. Macioce Jr., 91, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born May 23, 1924, in Pittsburgh, the son of a late Patsy A. and Mary Viglietta Macioce Sr. Prior to his retirement at the age of 82, Patsy was a carpet and furniture salesman for Hahn Furniture and Kaufmann's Department Store in Monroeville. He was a member of St. Bernadette Parish, Monroeville, member of the Italian Sons & Daughters of America, and was a veteran of the Army, having served in World War II as an infantry soldier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Granata Macioce; brother, Anthony; and sister, Bernadette Bencivenga Sandrock. He is survived by his son, Patsy J. and his wife, Mary; daughter, Loretta Smith; sister, Josephine Labriola; grandchildren, Melanie Brown (Chad), Stephanie Little (Nate), Kristen Macioce and Laura Macioce; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Cooper Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Church with Father John Moineau officiating. Interment in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in memory of Patsy.
