Singer, Composer. She was born as María Isabel Granda Larco in Apurimac, Perú. She was well known internationally for her hit "La Flor de la Canela." She developed a successful career with songs that have her roots in the peruvian black music. Also she was the composer of songs such as "Fina Estampa," "Gracia," "José Antonio," "Zeñó Manué," "Gracia" and "Lima de Veras."
