Married Isabella Russell Feb 10 1861. Was in the Union Army, 97th Regt, III Inf., joined Aug. 11, 1862 in Hardin, Calhoun Co. ILL. Illinois on Sept 16, and mustered out June 29 1865 in Galveston, TX. His father was William Parker and his mother was Hannah Hudson Parker, his parents were married in Garrard Co. Kentucky,

Note: Headstone is on longer visible, overgrown with trees, etc, the ground has hidden almost all of the grave markers. It a shame that a Civil War Veterans grave would go in disrepair. But this needs to be considered when selecting a site.
