Cara Knott, a beautiful, vivacious, 20 year-old college student, was murdered by California Highway Patrolman, Craig Peyer, in San Diego two days after Christmas in 1986. Cara's family continues to fight for victims rights and to keep Craig Peyer behind bars. While Peyer has maintained his innocence for twenty years, he has refused to submit to voluntary DNA testing that could exonerate him.
