The funeral services of Jay Gibbs, who died at his home in Carey, after an illness of several months following an operation in January, will be held at 10 o'clock this morning at the home on North Main Street, in Carey, Ohio.
He was the son of the late Addison Gibbs, grocer and pioneer of Carey. He and his sister Miss Ella Gibbs resided together in the old family home at Carey.
The surviving family members are Fred Gibbs, who lives on Maple Avenue, Findlay; Frank Gibbs, of Newark, N.J.; Edward Gibbs, of Carey, and Mrs. J.H. Starr of Centralia, Mo. Both Mr. and Mrs. Starr are in Carey at the time.
