Services for Mrs. Virginia Ates Thibodeaux will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2004 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Reverends Kenneth Murrell and Clyde Grammon officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery, Pollock.
Mrs. Thibodeaux, 76, of Pineville died Monday, May 17, 2004, in Hilltop Nursing Home.
She was a member of Wardville Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Nathan R. Thibodeaux; parents, Andrew Jackson and Thelma Johnson Cranford; brother, Gordon Cranford; and sister, Helen Marie Bullitt.
Those left to cherish her memory include her first husband, C.L. Ates, Jr. of Wilmington, N.C.; sons, James C. Ates of Edensburg, Pa., and Donald R. Ates of Pineville, La.; daughters, Odessa Walbeck of Nanty Glo, Pa., and Dianne Bush of Pineville, La.; and sister, Joyce Greer of Denham Springs, La.
Friends may call Wednesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time.
