Beverly A. Kammeyer, 83, of Waverly, Iowa passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Waverly Health Center in Waverly.

Beverly Ann Kammeyer was born on September 10, 1932, the daughter of Clyde and Katherine (McVey) Howrey in Waterloo, Iowa. Bev graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1950.

On April 22, 1953, she was united in marriage to Harlan F. Kammeyer at St. John Lutheran Church in Waverly. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Waverly in 1954.

Beverly worked in the mortgage loan business and retired from the Bremer County Abstract Company in 1994.

She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Janesville, Iowa. Beverly did a lot of artist painting and drawing and was an avid reader

Survivors are her two sons, Ed Kammeyer of Plainfield, Iowa and Scot (Laurie) Kammeyer of Waterloo, Iowa; six grandchildren, Erica (Robin) Bliss, Jessica (Mike) Hyde, Jeremy Moeller, Rebecca Kammeyer (Joe Prudent), Jason Moeller (Michelle Bond) and Brooklyn Kammeyer; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan, Hannah and Hailyn Bos, Emelia Bliss, Samantha, Mason and Abbie Hyde and Jaysa Moeller; two sisters, Darlene (Harry) Fairbanks of Denver, Iowa and Judy (Gary) Lee of Waterloo, Iowa; brother Clinton Watson of Ontario, Oregon; brother-in-law, Orville (Jean) Kammeyer of Cedar Falls, Iowa and sister-in-law, Opal Bryan of Fairmont, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Everette Watson; her husband, Harlan F. Kammeyer on June 28, 2002; daughter-in-law, Mary Jo "Jodi" Kammeyer and sister, Donna Hendrickson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Messiah Lutheran Church in Janesville, Iowa with Pastor Corey Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Harlington Cemetery in Waverly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and also an hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
