Samantha was the daughter of Robert Abraham "Abe" Anderson and Flora Bell Rains Anderson. She married John Risden and had two daughters, Ruth Risden, and Rubie Risden (Roisden), and one son, James Sydney Risden. Samantha died at a very young age of TB. Her death record in Kentucky shows Roisden instead of Risden. There is no headstone on her grave.
