Martha Allene Cambron Boose, 92, departed this world for her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 24th.

Martha Cambron was born on Tuesday, November 6, 1923 to Erma (Morris) Cambron and Park C. Cambron. She married Edward D. Boose on October 20, 1945. Four children were born to them; Eddie, B'Ann, Randy and Rhonda. Sadly, none of the children lived to adulthood.

Martha became a Registered Nurse at the Olney Sanitarium, and was proud to have worked with the Weber Doctors and Nurses. After graduation, she and Ed moved to Champaign, Illinois, where she worked in the Rehabilitation Institute of the University of Illinois for many years. After Ed's retirement, they purchased their beloved farm in Louisville, IL and moved back home. Martha worked as a nurse for the Clay County Health Department for several years.

In 2005, Ed and Martha moved to Olney, IL. After 63 years of marriage, Ed preceded Martha on October 7, 2009. Martha maintained her own home and lived independently until shortly before her death.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Elinor West of Augusta, GA, her brother James "Bub" Thomas Cambron of Danville, and her sister Patricia Ann Roberts of Harrisburg, IL. Nieces and newphews include Sharon Walters, Susan Stout, Libby Legg, Darrell Cambron, Bill Cambron, Vickie Herron, Kathy Duplessis, Chuck Roberts, Jim Roberts, and Donna Greer and many grand-nieces and nephews. Her Godson, Jeff Brownfield, his wife Alice, and their children Wyatt and Ellie of Champaign, were especially close to her.

Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, February 27, 2016. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AMon Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Angel of Hope Children's Memorial Garden in Olney, 5085 Northview Lane, Olney, IL 62450 and will also be received at the funeral home.
