Exchange Vows Before Altar By Candlelight

Jean Ann Addleman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Addleman of Centre Hall RD 1, and Alan David Wance, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey E. Wance, of Aaronsburg, were married in a candlelight ceremony in the Colyer Brethren in Christ Church Friday at 7:30 pm.
The double-ring ritual was performed by Reverend Charles Lehman before an altar of carnations and greens.
Miss Anna Ruth Fohringer of Centre Hall sang "Oh Promise Me," "O Perfect Love," and the "Wedding Prayer" accompanied by Jason A. Fritzinger of State College, organist. Mr Fritizinger also played traditional music for the ceremony.
The bride street-length gown of white Chantilly lace over nylon was embroidered with seed pearls and sequins and featured long pointed sleeves. Her finger tip veil of illusion was attached to a diamond-shaped crown. She carried a white Bible topped with white carnations and satin streamers.
Miss Thelma Heisey of Centre hall, maid of honor, wore a street-length two-piece dress of blue and white lace with white accessories, and a corsage of white and blue-tinted carnations.
Ronald Copenhaver of Aaronsburg was best man and brothers of the couple, Tom Addleman and Terry Wance, were ushers.
Mrs. Addleman chose a green tweed suit with brown accessories for her daughter's wedding. The mother of the bridegroom wore a blue Jersey with black accessories. Their corsages were carnations tinted to match their outfits.
The newlyweds were both graduated from the Penns Valley High School in 1964. The new Mrs Wance was employed by Peoples National Bank, State College, and the bridegroom was employed by Nittany Motors, also of State College.
