Georgia D. Wance, 87, of Aaronsburg, died at Centre Community Hospital Saturday, April 5, 1986.
She was a member of St Luke's United Methodist Church of Millheim.
She was born in Cammel, Lycoming County, May 16, 1898, a daughter of Henry C. and Annie Mowery Stricker. She was married April 2, 1919, to Lawrence E. Wance who died Feb 7, 1968.
Surviving were three sons: Dewey E. of Millheim, Stanley R. of Lock Haven and Kenneth E. of Aaronsburg; four daughters; Margaret E. Taylor of Clintondale, Sylvia A. Evans of Millheim, Barbara J. Smith of Aaronsburg and Donna M. Wilcox of Denver, Colrado; a brother, Aaron Stricker of Reedsville; a sister, Mary Jean Tressler of Williamsport; 26 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, Millheim, with the Reverend James O. Parker officiating.
Burial was at Reformed Cemetery, Aaronsburg.
