Tim Johnson, 49, of Ririe, Idaho, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Tim was born January 10, 1967, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ra Orlan Johnson and Bethene Haws Johnson. He grew up in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School. He also attended Eastern Idaho Technical College.

On June 7, 1991, he married Barbara Elaine Wolf in Idaho Falls, and gained two step children: Luke and Sarah. To this union were born two more children: Lacie and Tiffani. The couple made their home in Ririe, where Tim worked as a security officer, wild fire crew member, and a truck driver for the oil industry.

Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, mudding, and just the great outdoors with his family and friends. He started hunting at age 3 with his dad. Shortly thereafter, he was fishing in any water to be found. During Tim’s teenage years, he started archery hunting and snow skiing.

As an adult, Tim enjoyed snowmobiling, hot tubing, taking his family on drives through Yellowstone, and any other places the sunset would take them. He was always ready for a game of horseshoe or board games with the family. Tim loved his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who were close to him.

Tim’s family would like to express gratitude to the fifth floor nursing staff at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Tim is survived by

son, Luke (Shelley) Yost, of Boise, Idaho;
