Published in the Lockport Union Sun and Journal on February 26, 1924:

"The funeral of Mrs. Josephine Knoop, widow of the late William Knoop, was held on Monday afternoon, February 25th, at 2 o'clock, at the home of her son, 110 Hyde Park, and 2:30 at Calvary church. Rev. George Swezey assisted by Lockport Rebecca Lodge, officiating. The bearers were Samuel Argue, John Marshall, Joseph Schuster, Donald Knoop, William Schuster and Frank Knoop. Interment was in Cold Springs cemetery."

"Mrs. Josephine Knoop, widow of the late William Knoop died Friday evening at 8:45 at the home, 111 Spalding street, after a lingering illness. Age 70 years. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons and one daughter George and Frank Knoop, Mrs. Nina Bull all of Lockport, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Francis White, Mrs. George Schuster, and Frank Dedinger, Lockport.
Deceased was a member of L. A. P. M. No. 3, Lockport Rebecca No. 290, Sequa Council No. 177 and Ladies' Relief Corp. Funeral will he held from the home of her son 110 Hyde Park on Monday at 2 o'clock and 2:30 at Calvary church. Interment in Cold Springs."
