Glayds "Dena" Whiteman, 75, of Broken Bow passed away March 9, 2010, at Junction, Texas. She was born Nov. 4, 1934, in Tecumseh, the daughter of Ollie and Zelma Stevens.

She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Zelma Denton; brothers, James Stevens and Dick Stevens; and by a granddaughter, Crystal Loving.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, James King and Ollie King, both of Roswell, N.M., and Earl King of Junction, Texas; daughter, Vanessa King of De Queen, Ark.; sister, Lela Brim of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Bunch-Singleton Chapel. Burial will follow at Broken Bow Cemetery under the direction of Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
